I am looking at switching to agleader from trimble. My question is will I have to run a new wiring harness on my planter for the agleader monitor to control my planter its a white 8816, or would the existing trimble harness work? I have a gfx 750 that controls my row clutches, my seed population through the hydraulic drive and does the seed spacing and skip monitoring with dickey john seed sensors.. I know nothing about crossing the between the 2 companies or if it can even be done. Any info is welcomed
Does your planter have Trimble modules, or factory White ISO?
If it's Trimble modules, you'll have to change everything to Ag Leader...If it's factory White ISO, it will work with Ag Leader, but with clutches it can be a little screwy. I have made them work well.
